Would appreciate death, burial or obit information on Esther (Franklin) GUILE, particulary names of parents and/or husband's parents.  Henry is believed to be the son of Joseph and Mahala (TARBOX) GUILE of Scituate, RI and Steuben Co. NY, who moved their family to "one of the western states" c. 1835.

(GUILLE) McCALL, b. 18 May, 1849, d. 1917 or 1918, m.a. 1860 to _____ McCALL, who would have been b. a. 1844.  Julia was the daugheter of Henry and Esther  (FRANKLIN) GUILE, of Springfield, IL and/or Pike Co., MO.  Henry d. between 1858 and 1875, at which time his widow and fiver of her seven grown children were living in Clarksville, Pike Co., MO.  However the widow Esther (FRANKLIN) GUILE, d. 17 May, 1907, in Moberly, Randolph Co., MO and it is possible that she passed her last years there in the home of her eldest daughter, Julia A. (GUILE) McCALL.  I would very much like to get in contact with McCALL descendants, in hopes of learning more about the GUILE  side of the family.

Sometime in the 1840's, the family of John R. LARUE and Charlotte (BARNES) LARUE, bought property in Prarie Township, Randolph County, MO and moved there from Howard County, MO.  Two of their children, Felix G. LARUE and George Washington LARUE, survived to start lines of their own in Idaho and Washington State.  Members of the family remained in Randolph Co. until 1906.  I am seeking descendents for exchange of information.

Researching the PATRICK family of Randolph County, MO.  Robert PATRICK and his wife, Dorcus (OWEN) PATRICK, mobed from Fayette County, KY to Randolph County, MO about 1830.  They had a total of 9 children with 5 of them being born after their move.  I am descended from their 4th child, Hezekiah Elgin PATTRECK.  Hezekiah married Mary E. DAWKINS and remained in Randolph County all his life.  I would love to hear from anyone else with a PATRICK in their family tree so see if we can make a connection.  I have quite a bit of information on both the descendants and ancestors of Robert PATRICK.

Mark MURPHY and Martha A. (RENFRO) MURPHY m. 1862, Macoupin Co., IL.  Moved to Randolph County, MO, ca 1880.  Had two children, M. Lula, Mark Jr. Mark,Jr., m. Belle (?) and had three sons: Mark, Paul and Earl.  Two of Mark's children and two of Paul's children were still living in HIGBEE, in the 1920's.  Martha (RENFRO) MURPHY is the daughter of Moses J. RENFRO and Mary Ann (DONAHOE) RENFRO.  I am searching the RENFRO line and am trying to find out how Moses J. RENFRO connects to my RENFRO line, who were also in Macoupin County, IL.

Dec. 24, 1845, Randolph Co.  Parents were James Elkins LESSLY and Emily HARRIS.  The rest of the LESSLY clan moved on to Texas, George stayed behind and married his sweetheart, Anne E. PATTRICK.  They had 6 children - James E., George E., William 'Gus', Clarence K., Bertha May, and Anne.  After wife Annie's passing, George married twice more, Augusta PALMER and Nancy BURTON.  The second marriage produced two more children - Oreon P., and Lucy E. Lessly.  George was a successful businessman and farmer in the Higbee area.

Emily Louisa (Ludie or Lutie) HANLEY, Saline Co., MO, 1865.  The family was found on the 1880 Randolp Cp. census as living in the Sugar Tree Twonship, near the twon of Moberly.  They had 4 or 5 children then (one is believed to be a farm hand).  Ludie d. 1885, bd. in Salem (?) Cemetery.  It is believed she and E. Virgil had another 4 children by that time.  I'm looking for the names of the children and what happened to them when E. Virgil left for parts unknown; remarried and had another faily, possibly in Colorado or California.  Would love to correspond with descendants of either family.

Ollie PATTON's mother was Susan E. WILLIAMS, b. 5/6/1838, d. 10/17/1913.  Susan m. Louis M. CAREY,11/25/1858.  1 ch. Mattie L. CAREY, b. 11/1/1859, d. 4/2/1933.  Mattie m. Neil M. MARTIN, b. 11/3/1859, d. 11/6/1926.  Mattie and Neil had s. Ernest H. MARTIN, b. 12/1877, d. 3/25/1889.

Susan then m. 2nd, James Ramsey DAVIS, Sr., 1/21/1866.  1 ch. James Ramsey DAVIS, Jr., b. 3/28/1870, d. 2/17/1922.  In the book 'Old Families of Randolph County, Missouri' there is an Estelle Lee Hines, b. 9/11/1885, referred to as Mrs. James R. DAVIS.  Looking for a connection.

Susan then m. 3rd, James A. PATTON, 5/3/1874, in Randolph Co, MO.  This marriage is listed in the book with a filing date of 6/6/1874, by C. P. HOLLIS.  2 ch., twins.  Holly (male) and Ollie (female) b. 12/12/1878.  Holly d. as child, Ollied d. 7/15/1956, in OK.

There is some mention in my mother's family bible of a William D. WILLIAMS who died Jan. 1911.  Maybe Susan's father?

Looking for a newspaper article or death record for Hezekiah James CHAPMAN, who was supposedly killed by a switch engine while working for the St. Louis, Kansas City, Northern Railroad in Moberly, MO on Jan. 22, 1879.  He is my GGGrandfather and is buried in Carroll Co., MO but I do not have any record of how he died except through passed down family stories.

CYCLIN8THOMAS/MCHATTON

William W. THOMAS and Frances Jane MCHATTON were married in the mid 1850's in Hart Co., KY.  Moved to Randolph Co., MO in about 1859.   They are shown in the 1860 census living in Renick.  William was a merchant.  They had four boys, William Alexander, Frank, Henry Wallace and one other who is believed to have died while young.  William W. died very young (32 years; abt.  1863).  His wife and boys returned to Hart Co., KY where she remarried.

I am looking for anything more on this family, no matter how seemingly insignificant.

Looking for information on  the descendants of Simeon STILES (STYLES).

Simeon, b. April 29, 1811, Westfield, MA, came to MO sometime in the late 1830's. He was both a carpenter and a farmer.  He married Rebecca Ann HANNA, Sept. 13, 1838 in Howard Co., MO.  They moved to Randoph Co. a few years later and lived there until their deaths.  Simeon and Rebecca had a total of six children.  I am descended from their eldest William Henry STILES.  Simeon was married two more times, to an Elizabeth (?) and to Ruth DESKIN.  As far as I know, there were no children from the second marriage but there were 3 from the third marriage.

I have a lot of information on both the descendants and ancestors of Simeon and would be happy to share.

Looking for information on my g-g-grandmother Elizabeth ?, b. October 1843 in NC, m. about 1858 to Marcus (Marquis) McCORMICK of the College Mound area of Macon Co.  He was a nephew of Mason and Bushrod McCORMICK who both settled in Randolph Co.  Marcus d. 1863 in the war and Elizabeth married Phillip BAXTER in Randolph Co. in 1869.  The Randolph Co. marriage record lists her surname as CORMICE rather than McCORMICK.  The BAXTERs moved to Chillicothe and were listed in the censuses from 1870-1900

Looking for information regarding Micajah HULL and Nancy BISWELL HULL.  They lived near what was called Richland township in Macon Co. but apparently the county borders shifted around that time.  Micajah HULL died 7-19-1860.  He is listed in the "History of Randoph County" as having served on a Grand Jury on 8-18-1837 and was said to be one of the first settlers in Randolph Co.

Any help would be appreciated.  I am very interested in where he and his wife came from and who their parents were.

Mary Day "Polly" BOONE, d. of Sameul BOONE (Daniel's older brother.).  Their children are well documented and I descend from s. Thomas who married Elizabeth COCKRILL.  The parents of Leonard Keeling BRADLEY reportedly are Terry THOMAS and Molly KEELING BRADLEY of Surry Co, NC.

My grandmother Susan Frances LEFFLER was b. Randolph Co, 25 Dec. 1873.  Her parents were Jacob Insco LEFFLER and Susan Frances GREEN.  I am looking for ties to the LEFFLER  and GREEN famileis.  I believe that Susan GREEN'S father was a Frank or Franklin GREEN from KY or TN.  I have no idea where the LEFFLER parents came from except that Jacob Insco LEFFLER supposedly was born in Boone Co., MO.

Seeking any information on William PEARL and wife Elizabeth WARREN.  William and Elizabeth migrated from Kentucky in the 1830's to Chilicothe, Livingston,MO and then to Randolph Co. in the 1840's.  Elizabeth d. ca. 1840, not sure if in Livingston Co. or Randolph Co.

Simon Peter DENNIS was a stow-away from Ireland.  He came to MO in 1859 and m. Marthat REID, of Novelty, MO in 1862.  They had 6 sons--Charles, John, Seba, Daniel, Earl and Lorenzo.  Moved to Renick, Randolph MO where Simon Peter was a farmer.  Martha m. 2nd William B. PENROD of Cherry, MO.

Would appreciate information on Simon DENNIS, especially pertaining to his Irish origins.  Would also like more details of Martha REID.  Will share all information I have.

M. 1880 toHannah Marie GRIFFITH(S), b. 1864, Tunnel, OH.  Her family moved to Huntsville, MO when she was a child.

They had 8 children all b. Huntsville.  Some stayed others moved to AZ and NM including my grandfather Edward William (Nick) BEDDOW.

I believe that John and Hannah left MO in 1921.  John was a Deacon in the Baptist church according to his obituary.  Who were is parents?  Who were the wives of his sons??  What did he do in MO?  Why did he leave  Who are my MO cousins?..........!!!!!!!  Want more!!!!!

Searching for information on g-grandfather Willam FOOR, b. 2 Oct. 1812.  Where?; m. 1st 10 Apr 1833 Where? to Sophia CARLOCK who d. 6 m. after birth of son John Carlock FOOR Where?.  M. 2nd 24 Dec 1837 to Mary Ann FOWLER Where?.  Two sons were born, both dying in infancy Where?  The first record I have is the 1840 OH census for Hamilton Co., Cincinnati, 5th ward.  He is listed in the Cincinnati City Directory, 1842, 1843 & 1846.  He was in Randolph Co by 1851 as he was listed in original land purchases 10 Oct 1851.  He m. 3rd in Howard Co.,  MO 16 Aug. 1854 to Susannah ANDREWS, b. 17 Sept 1829.  They had 9 children.  Susannah d. 13 Apr. 1877 and William d. 15 Dec. 1893.  They are buried in the Burton Cemetary at Higbee, MO as is Mary Ann.  I believe William moved to MO because Mary Ann had relatives living in Randolph Co., perhaps brothers.  Some FOWLERs had lived in Randolph as early as 1833.  Would like to know where William was before 1840.

Looking for any information to any McDANIEL families in mid 1800's Randolph Co.  Have seen platte information for Elisha, Alfred and John McDANIEL, starting as early as 1827 and going to after 1850's.  This was in the Sugar Creek and Chariton townships according to the 1850/1860 Census.

In addition, looking for connections to related families of GUNN (Starling, Michael and Thomas), GIBSON (Robert), HARRIS (A.F., James Henry, and David) and EPPERLY (Solomon, George and others) who were in the same areas and times.  Trying to establish lineage for Alexander McDANIEL (~1815-1853) and his wife Savannah HARRIS (1830-?), whose mother I believe, was a GUNN.  Savannah may have married a GIBSON and the probate for Alexander had EPPERLY's listed that may be related.
