Looking for any
information on the CRAIG family who supposedly had afurniture store
in Moberly during the early 1900's. Bert WarwickCraig died in 1915
and his obit said that he had formerly been in thefurniture business
in Moberly then moved to Nevada and then on to ElDorado Springs. His
father was Philip Craig, his brothers were Fredand Clyde Craig. Bert
may have been married to a woman named Celia.Any information would be
greatly appreciated since I have hit a hugebrick wall with this
family.

I am looking for
information on Elkana Skinner, my great greatgrandfather. He was in
Randolph County for the 1850 Census, andthere is anecdotal evidence
of his being in Huntsville in 1862. Heand his family also appear in
the 1870 and 1880 census for RandolphCounty. He was born in Kentucky
in 1810 or 1811 and died in AudrainCounty September 8, 1887. His
wife was named Sarah, no surnameknown. There children were
Greenberry, David W, Mary A.,JamesH.,Sarah F., Louisa, John C., and
Luther Skinner. He ad a farm justnortheast of Hunsville very near to
many other Skinners. I am surehe was related to them, but do not

Our Gen. Soc. has a
project to research Civil War Vets bur in OrangeCo, CA. Apparently
De Melville TEDFORD had 2 sons who fought, &later died & were buried
here. Family on the 1850 Randolph Co, MOcensus. Sons were: William
H. TEDFORD b 1842, 4th Cav TX; JamesThomas TEDFORD b 1840, 4th Cav
MO. The family is on the 1860 BurnetCo, TX census. Glad to

either Allen HERN, b. abt.1799 probably in KY;or Solomon HERN, b.
abt.1800 in KY. Allen died abt. 1862 in RandolphCo, Solomon died

Help! Can anyone tell me if Roanoke Cemetary
is located in Randolphor Howard County? Specifically I am looking
for James Solsbee whodied in approximately 1871 and is supposedly
